Exploring Repetition Final

Image
  1. How do you feel about your process? while doing this the progress was quite stressful and I didn't really have any inspiration, so my last resort was to get inspiration  from the  room. At first, I didn't know where to look but I decided to do little details.  2. What do you like about your end results? I love the end results because it's so much detail and inspiration into it. Just the end I didn't like the way the lines that are over the pencil is quite messy and most the circles. 3. What things would you have done differently? I would take my time on the circles because they are really messy for the fact, I tried to do it fast. And next time I would like to do my lines better and not to go over the lines.    4. Do you feel as though your drawing skills have improved? I think my drawing skills have been getting bad since I haven't been drawing since the last project that required drawing. Not only that but since i entered high school I haven't been drawin

What was your process like?   While i was working on my project it was confusing since we were not in the same page and interact to know what pattern to do. But after we talked it out, we all work to make circles of different sizes and from there we put it together and it went great. - Did you achieve the result you wanted?    Yes, I think we even did better than I expected since we all understood what we had to do, and we didn't have to give jobs because we naturally did what we had to do. Not only that but we understood each other and knew exactly what we like and what we want to do.  - How did you collaborate with your team to complete the project?     We had to communicate and tell teacher exactly what we want to do and our expectations and when we went onto working independently, we still talked to give a request on shaping and color of paper. We also had to agree in placement and deciding if someone wants or not wants that.  - What did you enjoy?    I enjoyed the part of

In this work the way Yayoi Kusama used repetition is by using small dots that are small and hidden in different parts of the drawings(mushrooms). Not only that but her making the shapes have many patterns which is the reason why repetition is used in the art.   Bridget Riley The way Bridget Riley uses repetition in her work is by using the color, black and white and also repeat black lines at regular intervals across the canvas. The reason why this piece of Bridget Riley's art is repetition is for the fact that she makes many black lines across the canvas and also the only shades that she uses are black and

I think while doing all of them I have the problem which was trying not to go out of the line because the marker would take out too much ink which was hard to control. And what I think was good about it was the textures which I liked. Other than that, I also had an issue on my drawings being too simple and not creative.

Other than that, I had fun experimenting my imagination on finding and making new patterns.
